Idea
Inspired by Lexus Hybrid and the expert driving skills of Formula 1 driver, Jarno Trulli, we designed a life–sized real–time user generated racetrack made of light.
Execution
Staged in an immense aircraft hangar, the “Trace Your Road” event featured the new IS Hybrid, a multitude of cameras and vast projections of improvised racetracks – each created on a touch tablet in real–time by one of ten lucky facebook fans. As Truli attempted to follow the ever changing paths at high speed, the winners rode shotgun for a mind–shifting demonstration of the hybrid’s reactiveness to their own road.
